Project Overview

Journey Travel is a website that helps people plan their dream vacations. It’s like a smart travel assistant that suggests places to go, things to see, and helps you book your trip. My job was to design and build a new website for them using Webflow. The site needed to be fun, easy to use, and make people excited to start planning their next adventure.

Problem

The old website had a few problems. First, it was confusing to use. People weren’t sure how to start planning their trip or what the website could actually do for them. Second, it didn’t work well on phones, which was a big issue because many people plan trips on their mobile devices.

Finally, the design was a bit boring and didn’t get people excited about traveling. It didn’t show off beautiful travel photos or make the planning process feel fun.

Goal

The Journey Travel team wanted a new website that would:

1. Be Easy to Use: Make it simple for anyone to figure out how to plan a trip.

2. Look Amazing: Use beautiful pictures and a clean design to make people dream about their next vacation.

3. Work on Phones: Ensure the site works perfectly on any device, especially smartphones.

4. Get People Excited: Encourage visitors to sign up and start using the planning tools.

Solution

I used Webflow to build a website that feels like the start of a great adventure.

1. Simple Planning Tools: We designed a clear homepage with a big search bar that asks “Where do you want to go?”. This makes it obvious how to get started. I also added simple buttons for “Flights,” “Hotels,” and “Things to Do.”

2. Beautiful Design: We used a layout with big, stunning photos of beaches, cities, and mountains. This makes the site visually exciting and inspires people to travel.

3. Mobile-Friendly: We built the entire site to be responsive. This means it automatically adjusts to look great and work perfectly on any phone or tablet.

4. Clear Calls to Action: We added bright, obvious buttons that say things like “Plan Your Trip” and “Sign Up Free” to guide people on what to do next.

Result

The new Journey Travel website was a huge success!

• It is now much easier for people to use and start planning their vacations.

• The beautiful design gets people excited and makes them want to explore the site.

• Because it works so well on phones, many more people are using it on the go.

• The number of people signing up to plan trips increased significantly.
