Project overview
Tenant Planet is a comprehensive property management platform designed to serve rental property owners with end-to-end solutions, including tenant placement, maintenance coordination, and financial oversight. The client required a high-converting Webflow website that could effectively communicate their tiered service offerings, RentalWatch™ for ongoing management and TenantMatch™ for tenant placement, while addressing specific industry concerns such as pricing transparency and maintenance process integrity.
The project involved creating a visually engaging, user-friendly interface that would resonate with landlords and property managers seeking reliable, conflict-free management services.
Problem
The original website suffered from significant usability and trust issues. User journeys were fragmented, with essential services like maintenance management and tenant screening difficult to locate within the dense navigation structure.
Mobile usability was particularly problematic, with a 40% drop-off rate during onboarding due to poorly optimized forms. Landlords were skeptical of the maintenance model, fearing potential conflicts of interest, and found pricing information unclear. Additionally, the client lacked a scalable content management system, making it cumbersome to update case studies, pricing details, or testimonials without technical assistance.
Goal
The primary objectives were to increase demo requests by 30% through improved calls-to-action and clearer service differentiation, and to build trust by transparently explaining the platform’s third-party maintenance model which avoids profit-driven conflicts.
The client also wanted to optimize the mobile experience for landlords who often manage properties on the go, and to implement a self-service CMS that would allow their team to independently update marketing content, client testimonials, and case studies.
Solution
The redesign focused on creating a streamlined, intuitive user experience with service-specific landing pages that clearly detailed RentalWatch™ and TenantMatch™ offerings, including toggleable pricing tables to highlight flexible fee structures. Interactive workflow diagrams with Lottie animations were incorporated to visually explain the four-step maintenance process and demystify the third-party maintenance model.
To build trust, a dynamic testimonial hub was built using Webflow’s CMS, allowing reviews to be filtered by service type, and a sticky compliance ribbon emphasized their no-markup maintenance policy. Technically, the mobile onboarding process was optimized with auto-fill fields, reducing the steps from five to three, and a filterable case study system was implemented to showcase success stories. Performance enhancements like WebP images and lazy loading reduced load times to 2.1 seconds.
Result
The redesigned Webflow site delivered a 35% increase in demo requests, driven by clearer service explanations and a more intuitive user journey. Client trust significantly improved, reflected in a 4.8/5 average rating for transparency in maintenance handling. The client gained full autonomy over content updates, now managing 90% of modifications, including blog posts and case studies, without developer support.
The project successfully balanced aesthetic appeal with functional improvements, demonstrating the effective use of Webflow for complex, trust-driven platforms in the property management industry.
